Gemma Chan regrets having “skinny brows”.
The 40-year-old actress insists she will not be following the returning pattern for finer eyebrows as a result of it took “so long” for the hair to re-grow when she tried it the primary time round.
Asked if she has any magnificence regrets, Gemma instructed InStyle.com: “The brows. 100%. I had skinny brows within the late ’90s and early 2000s, and it took so lengthy for them to develop again. I do know the pattern is sort of coming again, however I believe I’m going to skip that one.
“If you have performed it the primary time, it is like, ‘I can sit this one out.’
But the ‘Crazy Rich Asians’ star would welcome a return of the “dramatic” hairstyles of the Sixties, although she admitted it might be too “high maintenance” to stay to for an extended time period.
She mentioned: “I like the ’60s period. For a number of the hairstyles, they actually went for it; girls would go to the hairdresser and get their hair set and it might be an entire factor.
“That would be fun — not all the time, because I think it’s quite high maintenance — but it would be great to see some of those incredible, dramatic kinds of looks.”
During a busy few days on the Cannes Film Festival, Gemma admitted she has to “shift” her magnificence routine with the intention to attempt to preserve her pores and skin in nearly as good situation as attainable.
She mentioned: “It does shift slightly bit. I all the time find yourself coming to the pageant and having nice aspirations to get lots of sleep. Then, you get right here sleep-deprived and jet-lagged.
“So the essential issues for me are all about prepping the pores and skin. That consists of something cryotherapy-related and something to de-puff. I’ve all of the instruments and devices: the curler that I preserve within the fridge, the ice globes, a vibrating gadget for my eye space, and a cooling face masks as nicely.
“I also always bring my own tea because no one does tea like the English.”
